It’s no secret that I coach moderation with eating. By including fun foods in your diet you can increase enjoyment and satisfaction, which drive consistency and adherence to your plan.
But people are scared to give themselves permission to eat these foods. There’s fear that they won’t be able to lose weight if they eat them. Fear they won’t be able to stop at just one serving.
You can lose weight eating anything. Yes – literally anything, so long as you’re in a calorie deficit. That doesn’t mean you’re going to feel your best. But you must first accept this law of energy balance if you’re ever going to feel comfortable eating all the foods you enjoy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
